The MLS/CLAW ANNOUNCEMENT
To comply with practice changes required by the NAR Settlement Agreement and the design of newly released CAR forms, The MLS/CLAW will implement the following changes:

A new optional field labeled Seller Concessions with the option to check a “Yes” box, indicating the seller is willing to consider offers asking for concessions, will be added. ( completed on July 24, 2024)

The existing Concession Amount field will only be available at listing closeout ( completed on July 24, 2024)

The Concession Comment Field will be removed. ( completed on July 24, 2024)

The CSO (Commission to Buyers Brokerage) field will be removed. ( August 13, 2024)

The Buyer’s Brokerage Compensation Remarks field will be removed. ( August 13, 2024)

Updated MLS policies to require MLS participants and subscribers working with buyers to have a written representation agreement in place prior to touring homes. ( August 13, 2024)

Compensation data will be removed for listings in the following statuses: Active, Active Under Contract, Withdrawn, Hold, and Coming Soon. ( August 13, 2024)

Compensation data for Sold, Expired, Pending, and Cancelled Listings will remain for Historical Purposes. ( August 13, 2024)

Pending and Cancelled listings changed to any status besides Sold will have the Compensation data removed. ( August 13, 2024)
